From London to Dubai - My Sustainability Journey
I'm Jinal Zaveri, a sustainability consultant based in Dubai, helping businesses turn environmental goals into practical, measurable action.
My path wasn't conventional. I started as a graphic designer before making a deliberate pivot into sustainability in 2020. Since then, I've worked across carbon management, climate law compliance, and operational efficiency, with hands-on experience delivering real results.
At Aston Group in London, I built and led their carbon management programme, cutting Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 33.29% and exceeding our first-year target which led my work being recognised with the Social Value Hero Award.
In the UAE, I support businesses with climate law readiness, operational efficiency, and sustainability strategy. I also serve as an Assessor for the Global Circular Economy Forum & Awards, keeping me grounded in what real-world circular implementation looks like.
I believe sustainability works best when it's practical, honest, and built around what a business can actually deliver.
My role isn’t to hand over a 50-page report that gathers dust. I make sustainability clear, strategic, and actionable so it becomes part of how a business operates, not just a box to tick.
